A heckler wearing a “Release the Epstein Files” shirt was punched in the face by a supporter of President Donald Trump after interrupting his Monday night rally in Youngstown, Ohio.
Trump was railing against Ohio Democratic Senate candidateSherrod Brownwhen the Newsmax broadcast showed rallygoers turning their attention toward a commotion in the crowd and jeering.
The footage then split, showing a Trump fan violently shoving the woman, hitting her in the face, and shoving her back into the bleachers. At one point, the attendee even grabbed the woman by the hair and attempted to slam her face towards the ground. Law enforcement made their way over, separating the squabble and attempting to lead the woman out of the arena.
“He’s a paid protester,” Trump said. “They’re all paid. They get paid by the lefties in order to destroy our country. They’re scum. But he’s going back home to Mom. He’s going back home to Mom. Look at him. Look at him. Terrible. Don’t we love law enforcement? Oh, he’s gotta go on a diet! He’s a fat guy. Wow. Wow. Gotta go on a diet fast. We all do.”
“No, they’re paid protesters. That’s a very low-class protester,” Trump added once the camera switched back to a single angle.
The woman, whose shirt said “Release the Epstein Files” in gold font, was forcefully taken out by the collar of her jacket by multiple law enforcement officers while the man who punched her stayed in the arena and high-fived fellow crowd members.
The incident comes just days after another Trump rally turned physical in San Antonio, Texas, where a man wearing a MAGA hat grabbed a heckler by the hair and yanked him to the ground after he interrupted the president’s speech.
“Let me ask you a question — is there anything like a Trump rally? Is there anything like it? I don’t think so,” the president said from the stage.
