I really do hope that Gavin Newsom becomes the 2028 Democrat presidential nominee.
Another example of what I mean took place earlier today after Gov. Hair Gel opened his piehole to sound off about gas prices – which, at about $6. 01 a gallon are nearly two bucks higher than the national average of $4. 29. Sure, the Iran war…yada yada. I get it. But for years before the Iran war, Newsom and his merry band of Domestic Terrorists made gasoline much more expensive with their “climate” regulations and “green energy” policies. Trump literally had nothing to do with that. But now Newsom is doubling down on the ‘gas prices are Trump’s fault’ BS.
His administration quietly announced on Tuesday that the state’s gasoline tax will be increased from its nation-high of 61. 2 cents per gallon:

Disaster has resisted calls from both Democrats and Republicans in California to suspend the gas tax for the time being, using the ‘but muh roads and bridges!’ argument. And yet, California is among the worst states for road quality. So where’s the annual $13.
