You can’t say President Trump doesn’t reward his allies who are loyal to him. After spending a four-year term dodging slings and arrows, many of them from people he trusted, Trump 2.0 seems less tolerant than before of disloyalty. He has shown time and again this primary season that if you stab him in the back on anything, he’ll make sure your days in Congress are limited.
He also appears to be rewarding friendly news outlets. After walking off the set following a hostile back-and-forth with NBC News’ Kristen Welker over Democrat vote fraud, Trump appeared to reward Fox News reporter Trey Yingst with the courtesy of a warning ahead of new U.S. strikes against Iran.
Yingst has been reporting for the network live from Israel:
Trump said he will continue to pound Iran until the regime there finally understands they need to make a lasting peace deal that does not include uranium enrichment. Ever.Meantime, Trump continues to prove you definitely want him as an ally, not an enemy.
