Tensions in the Middle East have escalated sharply after Iran launched ballistic missile strikes toward Tel Aviv, reportedly using cluster-type warheads. Iranian officials described the हमला as retaliation for the assassination of a senior security figure they blame on Israel. The தாக்க lit up the night sky over central Israel, causing infrastructure damage and killing at least two civilians. Reports of cluster munitions have raised humanitarian concerns, as these weapons disperse smaller explosives over wide areas, some of which may remain dangerous long after impact.

This strike is part of a broader escalation that has intensified since early 2026. Iran has launched multiple attacks not only on Israeli territory but also on U.S. bases and allied facilities across the Gulf region, including KuwaitBahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia. These actions follow a series of targeted killings of Iranian officials, which Tehran has vowed to avenge.

In response, Israel, along with the United States, has carried out airstrikes inside Iran, targeting military and nuclear-related sites. Israel’s missile defense systems, including Iron Dome and Arrow-3, have intercepted many incoming threats. However, the scale and complexity of the attacks have made full interception difficult, leaving civilians increasingly at risk.

The conflict is also affecting global stability. Energy markets have reacted to fears of disruptions in Gulf oil supplies, while diplomatic efforts to ease tensions have yet to succeed. Both Iran and Israel appear prepared to continue military operations, raising concerns about further escalation.
